As Changemakers, we take action with the energy of creative problem solvers unafraid to show our vulnerabilities and learn from mistakes.
Engage their traditions and values with new opportunities.
They will learn to invite diverse voices to every interaction and decision-making table alongside them. Changemakers welcome new perspectives that greatly enhance the probability of success.
Cultivate the Changemakers around them.
Changemakers plant seeds and nurture them with great care in order to harvest the fruits of a more inclusive, just and healthful world for everyone. Our own circles of influence provide rich soil for us to cultivate new Changemakers, too.
Our Mission:
Our Founder, Patti Talbot, has over 35 years of experience in public education from preschool through higher education working in the United States and abroad.
Her observations and experiences working with hundreds of students, parents, community members, and educators have taught her that positive change and innovation begin with the commitment and expertise of leaders across sectors who create environments where individuals are encouraged to drive their own learning and organize their lives around their highest purpose and calling.
Patti developed her signature system “The Changemaker Journey” to serve as a guide for individuals, leaders of every age, and communities desiring to cultivate homegrown change for a better world.

The purpose of ChangemakerYOU is to elevate the voices of women leaders to promote progress and preparedness for a world that is profoundly interconnected and changing at an increasingly rapid pace. At ChangemakerYOU, we provide information, inspiration, and support so women can continue to change the world on their own terms and in a way that works better for everyone.

We offer intergenerational retreats and travel experiences for equity-minded women leaders who are now grandmothers so they can engage in rich learning and leadership development opportunities alongside their granddaughters as we cultivate the special gifts available to women across every stage of life.
At a time when women's voices are needed more than ever, we use the Changemaker Journey Framework to help the next generation of changemakers cultivate the skills and dispositions that all changemakers have in common.
